Description
The Linux kernel contains a flaw within the DRM/STM subsystem, specifically in the ltdc driver. A late dereference check in the
ltdc crtc set crc source() function could lead to a kernel panic. This occurs because a pointer, crtc, is dereferenced using container of() before a check confirms its validity. The issue was identified by a smatch warning in the file drivers/gpu/drm/stm/ltdc.c on line 1124, related to the ltdc crtc set crc source() function.Recommendations
