CVE-2023-53723

CVSS v2.0

4.6

Medium

VectorAV:L/AC:L/Au:S/C:N/I:N/A:C
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description The Linux kernel contains an issue within the DRM/amdgpu subsystem related to SDMA ECC interrupt handling during system suspend. Specifically, the sdma v4 0 hw fini function unconditionally disables ECC interrupts, even when SDMA RAS is enabled, which can lead to warnings during the suspend cycle on certain chips with SDMA IP v4.0. This occurs because the sdma v4 0 ip is shared across multiple ASICs. The issue is triggered during the suspend process, potentially impacting system stability. The function amdgpu irq put is involved in the call trace.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
