CVE-2025-22614

CVSS v4.0

6.4

Medium

VectorAV:N/AC:L/AT:N/PR:N/UI:A/VC:L/VI:L/VA:N/SC:H/SI:H/SA:H
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions WeGIA versions prior to 3.2.6
Description A Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability was identified in the dependente editarInfoPessoal.php endpoint of the WeGIA application. This vulnerability allows attackers to inject malicious scripts into the nome and SobrenomeForm parameters. The injected scripts are stored on the server and executed automatically whenever the affected page is accessed by users, posing a significant security risk. The application fails to properly validate and sanitize user inputs in the dependente editarInfoPessoal.php parameters. This lack of validation allows attackers to inject malicious scripts, which are then stored on the server. Whenever the affected page is accessed, the malicious payload is executed in the victim's browser, potentially compromising the user's data and system.
Recommendations To resolve the issue, update to version 3.2.6 or later. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the dependente editarInfoPessoal.php endpoint until the update is applied. Additionally, avoid using the nome and SobrenomeForm parameters in the affected endpoint until the issue is resolved.
