Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Chart Expert plugin for WordPress versions prior to 1.1

Description The Chart Expert plugin for WordPress is susceptible to Stored Cross-Site Scripting through the 'pmzez chart' shortcode. This is a result of inadequate input sanitization and output escaping of user-provided shortcode attributes. Authenticated attackers with contributor-level access or higher can inject arbitrary web scripts into pages. These scripts will execute when a user accesses the affected page.

Recommendations Update the Chart Expert plugin to version 1.1 or later.
