Description An out-of-bounds write issue exists in Intel(R) PROSet/Wireless WiFi Software for Windows. A local, unprivileged attacker with a low complexity attack may be able to cause a denial of service. The issue resides within Ring 2: Device Drivers. The potential impact includes a high level of availability disruption, with no impact to confidentiality and a low impact to integrity. The attack may occur via adjacent access when attack requirements are not present and does not require user interaction.
