Description
A heap-based buffer overflow exists in the Microsoft Graphics Component, specifically within the Windows GDI+ interface. A heap-based buffer overflow occurs when a program writes more data to a heap-allocated memory block than it can hold, potentially corrupting adjacent memory. This flaw allows an unauthenticated remote attacker to execute arbitrary code over a network, which could lead to full system compromise.
