VectorAV:L/AC:L/Au:S/C:N/I:N/A:C
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description A flaw exists in the Linux kernel’s drm/amdkfd subsystem related to a kernel process reference leak when unmapping user pointers. Specifically, the kfd lookup process by pid function can leak a process reference and miss a null pointer check if the application process is already destroyed. This occurs when kfd lookup process by pid is called as a function parameter.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
