Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Versal™ Adaptive SoC’s Arm® Trusted Firmware for Cortex®-A processors (TF-A) (affected versions not specified)
Description
The Secure Flag within the Arm® Trusted Firmware for Cortex®-A processors (TF-A) used by Versal™ Adaptive SoC was incorrectly configured for Arm’s Power State Coordination Interface (PSCI) commands. This misconfiguration caused PSCI requests to falsely appear as originating from secure processors instead of non-secure processors. This could potentially allow for unauthorized operations or privilege escalation.
Recommendations
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
