Description The SortTable Post plugin for WordPress is susceptible to Stored Cross-Site Scripting through the id parameter within the sorttablepost shortcode. This occurs because of inadequate input sanitization and output escaping of user-provided attributes. Authenticated attackers possessing contributor-level access or higher can inject malicious web scripts into pages. These scripts will execute whenever a user interacts with the compromised page through mouse actions.

Recommendations Update the SortTable Post plugin to a version beyond 4.2.
