Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description The Linux kernel contains a double-kfree issue within the s390/ctcm subsystem. The function mpc rcvd sweep req(mpcginfo) conditionally frees memory pointed to by mpcginfo. Subsequently, a call to the kfree function within ctcmpc unpack skb attempts to free the same memory again, leading to a double-free condition. The issue was identified by the clang static analyzer and resolved by removing the redundant kfree call in mpc rcvd sweep req(mpcginfo).
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
