Description
A flaw exists in python-apt on APT-based Linux systems due to a NULL pointer dereference within the
TagSection.keys() function. A local attacker can exploit this by providing a specially crafted deb822 file containing a malformed, non-UTF-8 key, leading to a denial of service and process crash.Recommendations
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
