Description A flaw exists in the Linux kernel's quadspi driver related to resource management during device removal. Specifically, an early exit in the atmel qspi remove() function can lead to an unbound SPI controller with unmapped register space if runtime resume fails. This can cause system instability, potentially resulting in an oops. The issue is addressed by unconditionally unregistering the controller and adding a warning message for resume failures.
