Description A flaw exists in the Linux kernel's ethtool component related to handling eeprom data. Specifically, a null dereference can occur on genl info during a dump operation. This issue is similar to a previously addressed fix involving pse-pd functionality.

Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
