Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description
A flaw exists in the Linux kernel related to RDMA/rxe functionality. Specifically, a potential NULL pointer dereference can occur within the
rxe qp init req function when rxe queue init fails. This occurs because the qp->req.task.func and qp->req.task.arg are not initialized if queue creation fails, leading to issues during resource cleanup in rxe create qp via rxe qp do cleanup before checking qp->req.task.func and qp->req.task.arg in rxe do task.Recommendations
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
