CVE-2025-40339

CVSS v2.0

4.6

Medium

VectorAV:L/AC:L/Au:S/C:N/I:N/A:C
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description A flaw exists in the Linux kernel’s drm/amdgpu subsystem related to handling virtual memory. Specifically, the issue concerns a null pointer error within the vm handle moved function when an amdgpu bo va is equal to fpriv->prt va. This can occur when the backing object (bo) associated with the virtual address is null, leading to a potential error if not handled correctly before the memory handle is moved.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
