Description A flaw exists in the Linux kernel’s DRM/AMD/display component related to stream caching during Link Training (LT) automation. A recent update to LT automation could cause a crash by referencing the current state and calling dc update planes and stream, potentially corrupting the current state. The issue is addressed by caching relevant stream pointers and iterating through them instead of relying on the current state.
