CVE-2025-68230

CVSS v2.0

4.6

Medium

VectorAV:L/AC:L/Au:S/C:N/I:N/A:C
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description A flaw exists in the Linux kernel’s DRM/amdgpu subsystem that can lead to a GPU page fault after hibernation on PF passthrough environments. Specifically, after resuming from hibernation in a pass-through configuration, the coralgemm component may cause a GPU page fault. This occurs because the partition mode is not restored upon resume, leading to incorrect register settings (mmCP HYP XCP CTL and mmCP PSP XCP CTL). Consequently, when the CP accesses the MQD BO, an incorrect stride size is used, resulting in out-of-bounds access and a page fault. The issue is addressed by ensuring the gfx v9 4 3 switch compute partition() function is called during resume from hibernation.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
