CVSS v2.0

4.6

Medium

VectorAV:L/AC:L/Au:S/C:N/I:N/A:C
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description A flaw exists in the Linux kernel related to the ASoC SDCA component and parsing of the mipi-sdca-control-cn-list. The struct sdca control declares a values field as an integer array, but the allocated memory is a character array. This causes a crash when the sdca parse function API is called. The issue is addressed by allocating the correct data size.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
