CVE-2025-68298

None

No severity ratings or metrics are available. When they are, we'll update the corresponding info on the page.
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description The Linux kernel contains a flaw within the Bluetooth subsystem, specifically in the btusb mediatek driver. A NULL dereference issue exists in the btusb mtk claim iso intf() function. This occurs when btmtk data->isopkt intf is NULL, leading to a crash due to an invalid pointer being passed to device lock(). The issue arose from a commit intended to add locks for usb driver claim interface(), and prior to that commit, the NULL pointer would be detected and handled gracefully by usb driver claim interface(). The fix involves adding a NULL check at the beginning of the btusb mtk claim iso intf() function to revert to the previous error handling behavior.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
