CVSS v2.0

4.6

Medium

VectorAV:L/AC:L/Au:S/C:N/I:N/A:C
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description A flaw exists in the Linux kernel's tty serial driver, specifically within the ip22zilog component. Following a commit (84a9582fd203) requiring serial drivers to provide a device in the uart port.dev structure for runtime power management, the ip22zilog driver experienced an oops condition. The issue was addressed by transitioning the driver to a platform driver and establishing the serial device within the sgi-ip22 code.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
