Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
WebsiteBaker version 2.13.3
Description
WebsiteBaker version 2.13.3 has a directory traversal issue. Authenticated attackers can delete arbitrary files by manipulating directory path parameters. This is achieved by sending crafted GET requests to the
/admin/media/delete.php endpoint. The vulnerability involves using directory traversal sequences in the request to delete files outside the intended directory. The vulnerable parameter is the directory path.Recommendations
Update WebsiteBaker to a newer version that addresses this issue. As a temporary workaround, restrict access to the
/admin/media/delete.php endpoint to authorized personnel only.Exploit
