Description Revive Adserver 5.4.1 has a cross-site scripting issue in the banner advanced configuration page. This allows attackers to inject malicious scripts. An attacker can create a malicious link to the /banner-advanced.php endpoint, using XSS payloads in the prepend and append parameters. This allows for the execution of arbitrary JavaScript when an administrator views the page.

Recommendations Update to a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability. As a temporary workaround, consider carefully validating and sanitizing the prepend and append parameters before processing them in the /banner-advanced.php endpoint.
