Description The WordPress Embed Any Document – Embed PDF, Word, PowerPoint and Excel Files plugin contains a Stored Cross-Site Scripting issue. This is due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping in the sanitize pdf src function, allowing a regex bypass. Authenticated attackers with Contributor-level access or higher can inject arbitrary web scripts into pages. These scripts will execute when a user accesses the injected page.

Recommendations Update the Embed Any Document – Embed PDF, Word, PowerPoint and Excel Files plugin to a version later than 2.7.10.
