CVE-2025-68345

CVSS v2.0

4.6

Medium

VectorAV:L/AC:L/Au:S/C:N/I:N/A:C
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description A flaw exists in the Linux kernel related to the ALSA subsystem and the cs35l41 codec. Specifically, the cs35l41 hda read acpi() function may experience a NULL pointer dereference if acpi get first physical node() returns NULL. This occurs because the returned NULL value is not checked before being dereferenced, potentially leading to a system crash. The issue was discovered by the Linux Verification Center using SVACE.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
