None

No severity ratings or metrics are available. When they are, we'll update the corresponding info on the page.
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description The Linux kernel contains a flaw in the bpf get stackid() function related to a stackmap overflow check. This issue, identified by Syzkaller, can lead to a KASAN slab-out-of-bounds write when copying stack trace data. The problem arises when the number of stack entries in a perf trace exceeds the capacity of the stack map bucket, resulting in a write beyond the allocated memory region within the bucket’s data array.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
