Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description
A NULL pointer dereference issue exists in the RDMA/rxe component of the Linux kernel. This can occur in the
rxe srq chk attr() function when ibv modify srq() is called multiple times under specific error conditions. A resize failure in rxe queue resize() can lead to srq->rq.queue being set to NULL, and a subsequent attempt to access srq->rq.queue->buf->index mask results in a crash. The call trace indicates the issue occurs during modification of a shared receive queue (SRQ).Recommendations
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
