Description The Linux kernel contains refcount leak bugs within the qcom smsm probe() function. Specifically, two issues exist: a refcount leak of local node during iteration with for each child of node(), and a refcount leak of node during iteration with for each available child of node(). These leaks occur when the function exits prematurely via a break or goto statement without properly releasing the reference count of the device tree nodes.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
