Description
A memory leak exists in the
mtk probe() function within the mtk eth soc module of the Linux kernel's networking subsystem. Specifically, if the mtk wed add hw() function is called, the corresponding mtk wed exit() function must also be called in the error path or when removing the module to free the allocated memory. Failure to do so results in a memory leak.Recommendations
