Description A downgrade issue affecting Intel-based Mac computers was addressed with additional code-signing restrictions. This issue allows an app to modify protected parts of the file system. The vulnerability is related to insufficient access restrictions in the AppleMobileFileIntegrity component of MacOS, which may allow an attacker to gain read and write access to data.

Recommendations For macOS versions prior to 13.7.3, update to macOS Ventura 13.7.3 to resolve the issue. For macOS versions prior to 14.7.3, update to macOS Sonoma 14.7.3 to resolve the issue. For macOS versions prior to 15.3, update to macOS Sequoia 15.3 to resolve the issue.
