None

No severity ratings or metrics are available. When they are, we'll update the corresponding info on the page.
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description A flaw exists in the Linux kernel’s wireless functionality related to Wake-on-Wireless LAN (WoWlan). Specifically, the code did not properly check for a null pointer when configuring WoWlan during the shutdown process if WoWlan had not been previously enabled. This could lead to a warning message, indicating an unexpected state during normal operation. The issue was addressed by adding checks to ensure the WoWlan configuration and Wireless PHY (wiphy) are valid before access, and by removing a single-use variable to streamline the function call.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
