No severity ratings or metrics are available. When they are, we'll update the corresponding info on the page.
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description A flaw exists in the Linux kernel’s ice network driver related to the handling of Foreign Direct Interrupt Request (FDIR) filters. Specifically, if ice vc fdir set irq ctx fails during the addition of a FDIR filter, the filter entry is not removed. Additionally, if ice vc fdir write fltr fails, the interrupt request context information is not cleared. These failures can lead to inconsistencies or memory leaks. The issue arises from incorrect fallback logic when adding a FDIR filter.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
