CVE-2025-68743

None

No severity ratings or metrics are available. When they are, we'll update the corresponding info on the page.
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Linux Kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description The Linux kernel contains a flaw in the memory region overlap check within the mshv subsystem. The existing check incorrectly assesses overlaps, only verifying if the start or end of a region falls within an existing one, failing to account for regions that entirely encompass existing regions. The issue is addressed by implementing a range intersection check against gfns and uaddrs for each region. The function mshv partition region by uaddr() has been removed as it is no longer utilized.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
