No severity ratings or metrics are available. When they are, we'll update the corresponding info on the page.
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description
The Linux kernel contains a use-after-free issue within the drm/panthor subsystem. Specifically, if the Memory Management Unit (MMU) is down, the
panthor vm unmap range() function may return an error. The current code does not adequately handle this scenario, potentially leaving a virtual address node (va node) inserted into the Direct Rendering Manager memory manager (drm mm). This can lead to a use-after-free condition when other adjacent nodes are removed from the drm mm tree.Recommendations
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
