CVE-2023-54055

None

No severity ratings or metrics are available. When they are, we'll update the corresponding info on the page.
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description A memory leak exists in the RDMA/irdma component of the Linux kernel related to PBLE (Persistent Binding List Entry) objects. When the irdma module is removed, the memory allocated for these PBLE objects is not freed, leading to a memory leak. This occurs because PBLE objects and their associated Segment Descriptors are dynamically allocated during scaling and remain allocated until function deinitialization. The fix involves adding IRDMA HMC IW PBLE to the iw hmc obj types[] table and adjusting the handling of PBLEs during object creation and deletion.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
