Description
The Linux kernel contains a memory leak in the erofs filesystem related to pcluster objects. Specifically, the issue occurs when a pcluster is registered with a zero block address, which is illegal for non-inlined pclusters. This can lead to a memory leak as the reference count for a workgroup is added but not released. The issue was identified through syzkaller testing and affects the
z erofs do read page, z erofs readahead, and erofs workgroup get functions.Recommendations
