No severity ratings or metrics are available. When they are, we'll update the corresponding info on the page.
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description
A flaw exists in the Linux kernel’s DRM/amdgpu subsystem within the
amdgpu atrm get bios() function. The issue involves a PCI device reference count leak. Specifically, the pci dev put() function was not called when breaking a loop with a non-NULL 'pdev', leading to a reference count leak. This occurs because pci get class() increases and decreases the reference count for the input parameter if it is not NULL.Recommendations
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
