Description
The Linux kernel contains a flaw within the
fs/ntfs3 component. A UBSAN (Undefined Behavior Sanitizer) error can occur in the true sectors per clst() function, specifically due to a shift-out-of-bounds condition in fs/ntfs3/super.c. This issue was identified by syzbot, a fuzzing tool. The error involves a negative shift exponent, leading to undefined behavior.Recommendations
