Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description
The Linux kernel contains a flaw within the driver subsystem, specifically in the soc/xilinx component. A use-after-free condition exists due to the improper handling of a hash table iterator. The
hash for each possible() loop dereferences a pointer (eve data) after it has been freed, leading to a potential crash or other unpredictable behavior. The issue is addressed by utilizing the hash for each possible safe() function instead.Recommendations
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
