No severity ratings or metrics are available. When they are, we'll update the corresponding info on the page.
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description The Linux kernel contains an issue within the qla2xxx SCSI driver related to DMA-API calls on NVMe LS requests. A warning message and call trace were observed in debug kernels indicating a failure to check DMA mapping. The issue arises from the driver attempting to perform DMA mapping when it is already handled by the FC layer. Removing the DMA mapping from the driver resolves the warning.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
