Description The Linux kernel contains a flaw in the drm/amdkfd subsystem. A kernel warning can occur during topology setup due to incorrect initialization of the p2plink attribute before creating the sysfs file. This can lead to a kernel warning message during driver load, as indicated by the error message: 'kobject: '(null)' is not initialized, yet kobject put() is being called'. The issue is related to the kfd remove sysfs node entry, kfd topology update sysfs, and kfd topology add device functions within the amdgpu driver.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
