Description
A flaw exists in FontForge related to parsing PFB files, potentially allowing a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code. Exploitation requires user interaction, such as visiting a malicious page or opening a malicious file. The issue stems from insufficient validation of user-supplied data length before copying it into a stack-based buffer, leading to a buffer overflow. Successful exploitation could allow an attacker to execute code with the privileges of the current user.
