Description A flaw exists in FontForge due to insufficient validation of the length of user-supplied data when parsing SFD files. This can allow a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code in the context of the current user. User interaction is required, such as visiting a malicious page or opening a malicious file, to trigger the issue. The vulnerability was identified as ZDI-CAN-28543.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
