Description A memory leak exists in the mlx5e ptp open function within the net/mlx5e module. Specifically, if kvzalloc node or kvzalloc operations fail during the function's execution, memory pointed to by variables c or cparams is not released, resulting in a memory leak. The issue is resolved by freeing the allocated array in the error handling path.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
