CVE-2023-54274

None

No severity ratings or metrics are available. When they are, we'll update the corresponding info on the page.
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description The Linux kernel contains a flaw within the RDMA/srpt module related to the handling of MAD (Management Agent) agent pointers during unregistration. Specifically, a check for a valid 'mad agent' pointer may pass even when the pointer holds an error value, potentially occurring during simultaneous execution of srpt add one() and srpt remove one(). This can lead to a kernel NULL pointer dereference when attempting to unregister the MAD agent. The issue is triggered when the RoCE driver unregisters an ib device. A stack trace is available indicating a kernel NULL pointer dereference.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
