No severity ratings or metrics are available. When they are, we'll update the corresponding info on the page.
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description The Linux kernel contains a flaw in the lontium-lt9611 driver where a NULL pointer dereference can occur within the lt9611 connector init() function. Specifically, the code dereferences the bridge->encoder pointer without ensuring it is not NULL, potentially leading to a system crash or other undefined behavior. The issue arises from a NULL check that occurs after the pointer has already been dereferenced.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
