Description
A flaw exists in the Linux kernel’s scsi subsystem, specifically within the qedf driver. A NULL dereference issue was identified in the error handling of the
qedf alloc global queues() function. The issue occurs when attempting to free global queues that have not been allocated, leading to a potential crash when checking for a NULL pointer. The vulnerability was reported by Smatch, a static analysis tool.Recommendations
