Description
A flaw exists in the Linux kernel related to thermal management for Intel Quark DTS devices. Specifically, a potential error occurs when the
alloc soc dts() function fails, leading to a dereference of an invalid memory pointer and resulting in a system crash (Oops). The issue arises from attempting to free a memory location (soc dts) even when the allocation process has failed. The vulnerable function is alloc soc dts().Recommendations
