CVE-2024-10581

CVSS v3.1

4.3

Medium

VectorAV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:R/S:U/C:N/I:L/A:N
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions DirectoryPress Frontend plugin for WordPress versions up to, and including, 2.7.9
Description The issue is due to missing or incorrect nonce validation on the dpfl listingStatusChange() function, making it possible for unauthenticated attackers to update listing statuses via a forged request. This can be achieved if an attacker can trick a site administrator into performing an action, such as clicking on a link.
Recommendations For versions up to, and including, 2.7.9, consider disabling the dpfl listingStatusChange() function until a patch is available to prevent exploitation. Restrict access to the plugin's functionality to minimize the risk of unauthorized listing status updates. Avoid using the plugin until the issue is resolved with a newer version.
