CVE-2024-11582

CVSS v3.1

7.2

High

VectorAV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:C/C:L/I:L/A:N
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Subscribe2 – Form, Email Subscribers & Newsletters plugin for WordPress versions up to, and including, 10.43
Description The issue is related to Stored Cross-Site Scripting due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping, allowing unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts via the ip parameter. This makes it possible for attackers to inject scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page.
Recommendations For versions up to, and including, 10.43, consider disabling the ip parameter input until a patch is available to prevent exploitation. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
