Description
The issue allows authenticated attackers with Author-level access and above to perform time-based SQL Injection via the
checkedVals parameter due to insufficient escaping on the user-supplied parameter and lack of sufficient preparation on the existing SQL query. This enables attackers to append additional SQL queries into already existing queries, potentially extracting sensitive information from the database.Recommendations
For versions up to, and including, 1.2.2, consider disabling the
checkedVals parameter until a patch is available to prevent potential SQL Injection attacks. Restrict access to the plugin's functionality to minimize the risk of exploitation, especially for users with Author-level access and above.Fix
